Paper Development Workshop at the Academy of Management Annual Meeting in Boston (August 6)

On Sunday, August 6, at the Academy of Management Annual Meeting in Boston, the Journal of Supply Chain Management hosted a Paper Development Workshop (PDW) named "From Less Unsustainable to Regenerative Supply Chains: Advancing Theory for Positive Change." This PDW served as a platform for scholars, practitioners, and researchers to collectively explore the transition from unsustainable to regenerative supply chain practices. Attendees engaged in insightful discussions moderated by Miriam Wilhelm. The panel of experts, including Mark Pagell, Jury Gualandris, Oana Branzei, Anne Quarshie, Ralph Hamann, and Martina Linnenluecke, provided valuable perspectives on driving sustainable transformations in supply chains. Interactive roundtable sessions facilitated meaningful exchanges, fostering cross-disciplinary learning and novel insights.

The PDW was strategically organized to cultivate innovative ideas in direct response to the "Call for Papers: Regenerative Supply Chains." This targeted initiative aimed to stimulate a collaborative intellectual effort, sparking a substantial discourse at introducing transformative ideas within regenerative supply chains.

Furthermore, we extend our encouragement to researchers and scholars to submit their contributions to this special issue.

Deadline for submission: March 1st, 2024
